BRINGING A NEW SOCIAL DIMENSION TO MANAGER GAMES

Taking manager games from PCs to mobile phones, through World Hockey Manager (and our upcoming titles), opens up a variety of opportunities. It makes the games more accessible and less time consuming, but it also offers a new social dimension, since you can compete against other players around the world instead of the computer. A win is more prestigious, you share your advancements at the same time you are interacting with friends, keeping track of their teams and creating friendship leagues.

WHM – Social League

With interaction among players being a key element in the game, we constantly strive to develop the social features. One of these features is the Social League, which gives the players the possibility to create their own leagues together with friends (or with strangers if they so prefer). The results will be saved in a separate score board, where the participants can chat, comment on victories, show their latest trades and so on.
Here are the first screenshots from the Social League (adjustments may occur).

Alpha testing

This week, we have proceeded with the planned alpha testing of World Hockey Manager. Five participants have been subjected to different challenges in the game, such as selecting team players, training their players and overseeing the club facilities. The results from these tests will be published later on.
